James Oswald Synopsis: In Natural Causes by James Oswald, the body of a young girl has been discovered. It has been sitting in a room in a ritualistic manner for approximately sixty years. For Edinburgh Detective Inspector Tony McLean, this may not be the highest priority case, but it is haunting nonetheless. Meanwhile, a wave of brutal killings has hit Edinburgh and the police can’t figure out why. McLean thinks that the two may be connected. As irrational as the theory sounds, it may lead Inspector McLean to the heart of a terrifying ancient evil.
