Order of Jerry Ahern Books
Jerry Ahern (1946-2012) was an American author of science fiction and action novels, best known his post-apocalyptic series The Survivalist. Aside from being a novelist, Ahern wrote for firearms magazines including Guns & Ammo, Handguns and Gun World. He often collaborated with wife Sharon Ahern. Jerry passed away in July 2012 from cancer.
Jerry Ahern became a published novelist in 1980 with The Killer Genesis (writing as Axel Kilgore). His first novel using his real name was Total War in 1981, the start of his Survivalist series. Below is a list of Jerry Ahern’s books in order of when they were first released:

You have one mistake in the “The Survivalist” book order above in that “Mid-Wake” comes after “Overlord” book #15 and before “The Arsenal” book #16.
“Mid-Wake” was released in Feb of ’88 with “The Arsenal” following later that same year as the ISBN number of these books reflect – that and the fact that my information as to the correct order came from Mr. Jerry Ahern himself, back when he was running Detonics Firearms and I was looking to complete my series of his books, as well as pick up parts for my Combat Master handgun collection.
