Order of Julie Kagawa Books
Julie Kagawa is an American author of YA fantasy novels. She writes the Iron Fey, Blood of Eden and Talon series. Born in Sacramento, California, she ended up moving to Hawaii as a kid – a land full of large insects, geckos and frequent hurricanes. Julie spent her time in class reading, especially when she wasn’t supposed to. She tried making her love of books into a job at a bookstore, which didn’t work out when she would rather read than shelve books. Julie Kagawa Synopsis: Talon is start of a new modern fantasy series by author Julie Kagawa. In it, the Order of St. George hunted almost all of the dragons down. Near extinction, they must disguise themselves in human form and grow their numbers quietly. The dragons of Talon are becoming stronger and smarter, and plan to take over the world before humans know what hit them. Teenagers Ember and Dante Hill are the only known brother-sister dragons. Ember wants to live a normal teenage life before she takes her place in Talon, but soon a rogue dragon will cause Ember to question everything she thought she knew. Garret Xavier Sebastian has sworn to eliminate all dragons from existence, including the Hills. But he can’t kill if he’s not certain, and there’s nothing certain about Ember. Ember causes Garret to question the Order of St. George and what he might give up in order to learn the truth about dragons.
