Sylvia Day Reviews:

California is known for giving the world an exotic blend of people from a broad range of backgrounds. Go to any city in that State you will find a Japan, China, or Korea town where Eastern cultures mix with the Western lifestyle and produces some very creative and out of the box thinkers in the process. Sylvia Day is a product of that society.
Add to that the love of travel and you get the perfect mix of culture, experience, and knowledge to create the ideal environment for many engaging and captivating story lines. Raised in California, Sylvia developed her love of words as a young girl on her many family jaunts to local amusement parks like Disneyland and Knotts Berry Farm that nurtured her love of fantasy.
One can easily see how her lifelong experiences have infused themselves in her fantasy, paranormal, and romance stories. With 45 successful novels and another line of novellas behind her and more on the way there is no sign that she plans to slow the tide at any time soon. She can pull you in with just about any genre and take your mind and soul on a journey of many dimensions.
A #1 New York Times and #1 international bestselling author her stories have been sold in thirty-nine different countries she has sold millions of books throughout her career as a writer. She has made the top of the list in several different genres including Contemporary, Fantasy & Paranormal, Historical, and Non-Fiction all with captivating story lines.
From her first release Misled (published in 2005) to her most recent Entwined With You Sylvia Day has garnered for herself an impressive following. She has also been the recipient of both the Amazon’s Best of the Year in Romance Award, the RT Book Review Reviewer’s Choice Award as well as received nominations and other prestigious accolades.
You might say that she is a master at the series collections. Her Crossfire and Georgian series for example have been placed on the same level of other prolific writers like Danielle Steel and Jackie Collins.
The Crossfire Series consists of 3 books that follow the emotional and romantic journey of lovers Gideon Cross and Eva Tramell. The trilogy details the many twists and turns and obstacles they have to overcome in building their relationship in spite of fighting off their own personal demons lurking in their own private worlds.
The Georgian Series slowly reveals the story of star-crossed lovers through the veiled background of historical drama. Each story is set in a historical background in the 18th century where when secrets hidden for years come to life danger and intrigue lurk in the background.
The Renegade Angel Series is a trilogy that infuses the paranormal with sexual intrigue. This is where you will see all sorts of paranormal angels, lycans, and vampires are all engaged in a struggle for power and supremacy while at the same time trying to satisfy the desire of their own primal sexuality.
As the master of the series novels and novellas Sylvia Day series including The Dangerous Series, The Shadow Stalkers Miniseries, The Marked Series, The Dream Guardian Series, and The Carnal Thirst Series all of them provide the reader with a taste of her erotic and intriguing imagination that can transport you to anywhere in time or place.
Another aspect of Sylvia Day’s writings are the collections and novellas. The Bad Boys and The Alluring Tales both engage the reader in an on and off again relationship with characters that appear in one story and reappear in a totally different story in another book. Each book stands alone as with its own distinct story line but with some of the same characters reemerging throughout.
There is no doubt that Sylvia Day’s prolific writing has provided the reader with hours of entertainment as you traverse the pages of her books. Even her collection of non-fiction openly brings out the forbidden nature of dangerous choices that women will go through to explore their own sexuality.
So, if you’re looking for the raw sexuality that women often are secretly in search of you are sure to find it in the pages of Sylvia Day’s books or under one of her pseudonyms S.J. Day or Livia Dare.
