Winston Graham
Winston Graham (1908-2003) was an English author of historical fiction and suspense novels. He wrote the Poldark series. Graham had wanted to be a writer since he was young. Following his father’s death, his mother supported him while he tried to get published. He enjoyed playing tennis and recorded the number of sets he played each day in his diary. Several of Graham’s works have been adapted to television and film, including two Poldark TV series, Marnie was made into a film by Alfred Hitchcock, Take My Life, Night Without Stars, Fortune is a Woman, The Sleeping Partner and The Walking Stick. Graham was married in 1939 to Jean Williamson (who passed away in 1992). He passed away in 2003 in London.

Winston Graham became a published novelist in 1934 with the novel The House with the Stained Glass Windows. His final novel was the 2002 novel Bella Poldark. Below is a list of Winston Graham’s books in order of when they were originally released:
