Araminta Spookie (originally known as Araminta Spook in the UK) is the central character in a series of children’s novels by British author Angie Sage. Araminta loves all things scary. She has no fear of ghosts, bats, hidden passageways or even haunted houses. Infact, she lives in one with her aunt (Tabby), a haunted suit of armour (Sir Horce) and a ghost (Edmund).
Angie Sage began her Araminta Spookie series in 2006 with the novel My Haunted House. She would go on to write four more books in the series, ending with the 2008 book Ghostsitters.
