Order of M*A*S*H Books
M*A*S*H may have been one of the most popular television shows of the ’70s (or of all-time, for that matter), but it wouldn’t have been nothing if it wasn’t for the 1970 movie MASH. In turn, MASH wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for Richard Hooker’s 1968 novel MASH: A Novel About Three Army Doctors. Once the television series became such as smash hit, William E. Butterworth continued the series (albeit with a lighter tone).
Following Butterworth’s M*A*S*H books, Richard Hooker wrote one more M*A*S*H novel called M*A*S*H Mania which picks up where M*A*S*H Goes to Maine leaves off. The series could easily be divided into two segments – the original MASH novel, M*A*S*H Goes to Maine and M*A*S*H Mania by Richard Hooker and the remaining novels by William E. Butterworth.
Below is a list of the complete M*A*S*H book series (regardless of author):

Note: The first two and the last M*A*S*H novels were written by Richard Hooker alone, while the rest were co-authored with (or ghostwritten by) William E. Butterworth.
