Order of Ricky Ricotta Books
Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot is a series of children’s novels by American author Dav Pilkey. Ricky is a mouse who, along with his robot, saves the world from a different villain every book. Ricky Ricotta lived a lonely mouse in Squeakyville, where he was bullied during school. A mad scientist named Dr. Stinky McNasty made himself a robot to destroy Earth, but when the robot refused, McNasty zapped the robot with a gun. Ricky grabbed the gun and destroyed it, and when the robot saw this, he became friends with Ricky Ricotta.
Dav Pilkey began the Ricky Ricotta series in 2000 with Ricky Ricotta’s Mighty Robot (formerly titled Ricky Ricotta’s Giant Robot). The series is currently ongoing. Note: The series was originally known as “Ricky Ricotta’s Giant Robot.” However, once it was pointed out that the robot was only 2.5 feet tall, Dav Pilkey changed the adjective to “Mighty,” thanks to his young fans’ suggestions.
