Order of Well World Books
Well World is a series of science fiction novels by American novelist Jack L. Chalker. Well World is a planet that was created by an ancient spies of aliens called the Markovians – a species that felt they needed a fresh start in evolution. Volunteers would be able to be transformed into a brand new species that would get to start evolving. The planet is actually a computer that controls everything that goes on.
The Well World series is comprised of two series. Jack L. Chalker began the Well of Souls series in 1977 with the novel Midnight at the Well of Souls. The series lasted seven novels, concluding in 2000 with Ghost of the Well of Souls. The other series is called the Watchers at the Well series, beginning in 1993 with Echoes of the Well of Souls and ending with 1994 with Gods of the Well of Souls. Below is a list of Jack L.
