BBC to Adapt “The Casual Vacancy”
The BBC is adapting J.K. Rowling‘s adult novel The Casual Vacancy for television. The novel is Rowling’s first full-length novel besides her Harry Potter books.
Rowling said that BBC is the “perfect home” for the adaptation.
The adaptation is set to air in 2014 with an unknown number of episodes.
