Harlan Coben has had another one of his novels optioned. This time it’s Hold Tight being optioned by Inferno Entertainment. The standalone thriller novel’s screenplay will be written by Scott F. Butler.

Hold Tight hit #1 on the New York Times bestseller list back in April 2008. It’s about a father who has to fight for his family’s lives after his son accidentally exposes them to some dangerous criminals on the internet.

Previously, Tell No One was adapted as a French film starring Francois Cluzet and Kristin Scott Thomas. There’s a remake in the works with Ben Affleck attached to it. It will be written by Chris Terrio.

Harlan’s next standalone novel, Stay Close, will be released on March 20th.
