Debuts on this week’s USA Today’s Best-Selling Books list include Where We Belong by Emily Giffin (#5), Friends Forever by Danielle Steel (#6), Black List by Brad Thor (#8) and Broken Harbor by Tana French (#17).

For all four of these new releases, the eBook is outselling the hardcover. It is also the first time either Emily Giffin or Tana French’s newly released eBook has outsold its hardcover counterpart.

French’s appearance in the Top 20 marks her best showing yet, as her last novel Faithful Place debuted at #40.

Viking President Clare Ferraro says, “With every book, Tana gets better — at character, plot and portraying the external dynamics that trigger the criminal act. And that’s why her readership continues to grow.” Obviously, Emily’s publisher is quite pleased with her sales thus far.
