The Stephen King movie adaptations just keep coming!

Stephen King’s novel It is going to be receiving a new adaptation, this time on the big screen and in two parts. The films will be directed by Cary Fukunaga, who directed Jane Eyre. The screenplay will be written by Fukunaga and Chase Palmer.

It was adapted into a mini-series by ABC in 1990 and now Warner Bros. has the rights to adapt it to film. The original starred Tim Curry as Pennywise the clown and John Ritter.
