First out this week is Cold Days by Jim Butcher. After being murdered by an unknown assailant, Harry Dresden realizes that death wasn’t so bad after all. Cold Days is the 14th book in The Dresden Files and is available in hardcover, eBook and audiobook formats.

In the paranormal romance genre, Drive Me Wild (15th in the Novels of the Others series) is about a witch named Tess Menzies, who can work a spell with a blink of the eye, but no spell will create a truce between her kind and the were-creatures of Manhattan. Drive Me Wild by Christine Warren is available today in mass market paperback, eBook and audiobook formats.

One of the heavy-hitters this week is the new crime thriller featuring Harry Bosch. Harry links a recent bullet to an old cold case that turns out to be more personal than originally believed. The Black Box by Michael Connelly is available in hardcover, eBook an audiobook formats. A paperback edition should be out on June 25th of next year.

The second book in the fantasy series Watersong, Lullaby is about a girl who runs off with a clique of girls and a sister who wants to get her back… but she is going to need the help of someone who is immune to the clique’s dark powers. Lullaby by Amanda Hocking is out now in hardcover, eBook and audiobook formats. Look for the paperback in July 2013.

14th in Dale Brown’s Dreamland techno-thriller series, Collateral Damage is about Libya, where fires still burn even after the fall of Gaddafi. A new war could have dire consequences for the area. Nathan Heller makes his return for the 14th novel. Margaret Truman‘s characters have returned in a new murder mystery. In Experiment in Murder, a Washington psychiatrist is found dead and so Mackenzie Smith must now defend a patient of the doctor’s who has become a suspect.
