Russell Crowe To Play Roland Deschain in “The Dark Tower?”
It appears as if Javier Bardem is out of the running for the role of Roland Deschain in The Dark Tower in favour of Russell Crowe.
While Crowe isn’t quite a lock, he would make a fine choice for the gunslinger. Bardem would likely make an even better choice, but does not have the same name value as Crowe.
