We recently posted about the possible redevelopment of Arthur Conan Doyle’s former home, Undershaw. Well, it turns out that the high court has determined that the house will not be up for redevelopment.

The plan was to convert the house into eight separate houses.

Conan Doyle wrote thirteen Sherlock Holmes stories in the house. The house was later converted into a hotel, but has been empty since 2005.
