We already have True Blood and Game of Thrones, but soon we will have a TV series based on the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldon.

The historical fiction series stars Claire Randall, a WWII nurse who is on her second honeymoon and finds herself in 1743 Scotland.

Sony Pictures TV has acquired the rights to the series. It will be headed by Ron Moore (Battlestar Galactica).
