Walker Books UK has acquired worldwide rights for two more Alex Rider graphic novels, based on Anthony Horowitz‘ series.

The adaptations for Scorpia and Ark Angel will be written by Anthony Johnston. The series has reportedly topped 70,000 in sales.

“I’m delighted to be returning to Alex Rider,” Johnston says. “I’ve had many young readers demanding to know when the next graphic novel will be out, so I hope this news makes them as happy as it makes me!”

Also, Emma Vieceli has signed on to draw the series. She says, “I’m joining Alex as his adventures take some dark but exciting paths and that makes me very motivated to get drawing. I’m thrilled to be joining the team.”

Both have signed a two-book deal.
