Will Hunger Games Novel “Mockingjay” Be Split Into Two Movies?
For those wondering about the second Hunger Games book Mokingjay being divided into two films when it gets its adaptation, producer Nina Jacobson has said that it has yet to be determined.
“Not set in stone,” she said. “Still figuring it all out. Honestly, I think, first go from one movie to the next.”
This contradicts what the early reports indicated, that the three books would be adapted into four films. The third book would be split into two movies, much like what was done for the Twilight and Harry Potter franchises. For The Hunger Games, it all depends on how well this first movie is received.
