David Ignatius
David Ignatius is an American author of spy thriller/suspense novels, in addition to his work as an associate editor and columnist for the Washington Post. He was educated at Harvard College and Kings College, Cambridge University. He started out as an editor at the Washington Monthly before starting at the Wall Street Journal, where he worked for 10 years as a reporter. Since 1986, he has been working at the Washington Post. During this career, he has gained ample knowledge of foreign affairs and intelligence operations, for which he uses in his spy novels. His novel Body of Lies was adapted to film by Ridley Scott, starring Leonardo DiCaprio and Russell Crowe. (more…)

He earned his B.A. degree majoring in English and History from the Potchefstroom University for Christian Higher Education, and his honours degree from the University of the Free State. Meyer worked for the South African print company Die Volksblad as a journalist and for Sanlam as a copywriter. Following that, he ran his own business creating and managing virtual communities. Paul L. Gaus is an American author of Amish-themed mystery novels. He writes the Amish-Country Mysteries series. He was born in Ohio, where he has lived for most of his life. Gaus got his B.S. from Miami University and his Ph.D from Duke University and had a long career teaching chemistry at the freshman, junior and senior levels. He gained his knowledge of the Amish from being around the Amish and Mennonite people of Ohio. Gaus became interested in writing in 1993 and was encouraged to start by the late Tony Hillerman. He is often found lecturing about the Amish culture in libraries, bookstores and literary societies. Gaus and his wife Madonna still make frequent trips to Holmes County, Ohio, where his Amish-Country Mysteries are set. (more…)

After a night crossing the English Channel during a storm with his family, they decided to look for a hotel in Rouen, France. Ralph Compton (1934-1998) was an American novelist of western novels. He created the Trail Drive and Sundown Riders series. Compton hailed from St. Clair County, Alabama and stood 6’8″ tall when he wasn’t even wearing his boots. Before becoming an author, he was a musician, songwriter, radio announcer and a newspaper columnist. Following his death, his publisher Signet made his name into a house name, and novels written by authors such as Robert Vaughn, Dusty Richards, Jory Sherman, Joseph A. West, David Robbins, Ralph W.
