In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, the BBC has announced that they will be publishing a series of 11 new Doctor Who short stories written by “well-known children’s authors” starting this month. The stories will appear each month and will feature each regeneration of the Doctor, beginning with William Hartnell.

Walker Books UK has acquired worldwide rights for two more Alex Rider graphic novels, based on Anthony Horowitz‘ series. The adaptations for Scorpia and Ark Angel will be written by Anthony Johnston. The series has reportedly topped 70,000 in sales.
