Eoin Colfer will be the first of 11 authors to write a new Doctor Who story. Colfer is a former teacher and the author of the Artemis Fowl YA series. He also wrote a Hitchhiker’s Guide novel following the death of author Douglas Adams.
Artemis Fowl is a series of science fiction/fantasy young adult novels by Irish author Eoin Colfer. The series follows Artemis Fowl II, a teenage criminal mastermind, on his various criminal activities. The books have been adapted into graphic novels and there is also a film adaptation in the works.
