Ron Howard is reported to be in negotiations to direct a live-action adaptation of The Graveyard Book by Neil Gaiman. At one point, a stop-motion project was in development to be directed by Henry Selick, but issues arose that put a halt to that project.

In conjunction with the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, the BBC has announced that they will be publishing a series of 11 new Doctor Who short stories written by “well-known children’s authors” starting this month. The stories will appear each month and will feature each regeneration of the Doctor, beginning with William Hartnell.
