Chloe Moretz has been chosen to star as the title role in Carrie, the remake of a movie based on the Stephen King novel. The role was originally made famous by Sissy Spacek back in 1976.

It appears to be down to Chloe Moretz and Hayley Bennett in the race to play Carrie in the remake of the Stephen King horror film.

Warner Bros. is in discussions to develop The Dark Tower series. Universal announced an ambitious plan to release three films and a television series back in September 2010 and put the project on turnaround eight months ago. Warner Bros. is currently the only studio looking to take the Stephen King series on.
