Cathy Kelly is an Irish author of women’s fiction novels. Cathy was born in Belfast and raised in Dublin. She worked as a journalist for the Sunday World, where she wrote an advice column and critiqued films. She retired from journalism in 2001. Cate Tiernan is the pen name of American author Gabrielle Charbonnet, who writes YA fantasy novels under this pen name. She writes the Balefire series, Immortal Beloved trilogy, and the Sweep series. Cate earned a degree in Russian from Loyola University, and then began a career working at Random House.
