Dean Koontz is staying put, extending his deal with Random House; specificially their Ballantine Bantam Dell imprint. The prolific author has signed on for six more novels and will continue to be edited by Tracy Devine.

Women’s fiction author Emily Giffin has signed a two-book deal with Ballantine Books, an imprint of Random House. She was previously with St. Martin’s Press. Her first novel under the Ballantine banner will be released in 2014 and will be edited by Jennifer Hershey.
