After reading The Hunger Games, a 12 year-old girl was so inspired, she sat down and started writing herself. “It took about 2-and-a-half months to write it, but when I was happy with it, it was about seven months later when it came back from the publisher’s in a book,” said 12-year-old Carolann Plank.
