The Vigilante series is a series of crime thriller novels by Canadian novelist Claude Bouchard. Set in Montreal, the series follows Lt. Dave McCall, the head of the Special Homicide Task Force, who teams up with computer security expert Chris Barry.

Claude Bouchard is a Canadian author of crime thriller novels. He writes the Vigilante series. Bouchard was born in Montreal, Quebec, where he attended McGill University and worked in management for various firms. He enjoys reading, playing guitar, painting, cooking and travelling. Claude lives in Montreal with his wife, Joanne, and their two black cats.
