If You Like Adam Croft Books, You’ll Love…
Too Close For Comfort is the first book in the Knight & Culverhouse series by Adam Croft. Detective Sergeant Wendy Knight knew her first murder case would push her to the edge—but nothing could prepare her for the horror that awaits. When a sadistic serial killer begins targeting victims close to home, Wendy is forced to confront an unthinkable possibility: the killer might be someone she knows all too well.
As the investigation deepens, secrets unravel and loyalties fracture. In her once-trusted inner circle, it becomes impossible to tell friend from foe. And when Wendy discovers she’s the killer’s ultimate target, she must rely on her instincts—not just to solve the case, but to survive it.
Exit Stage Left by Adam Croft is the first novella in the Kempston Hardwick series. Charlie Sparks once had it all—fame, fortune, and a primetime television career. But times have changed, and his outdated act has left him clinging to fading memories on the stand-up circuit. When he suddenly collapses and dies during a set at a local pub, most assume it’s a tragic end to a washed-up star.
But not Kempston Hardwick.
A curious and enigmatic bystander, Hardwick can’t shake the feeling that something isn’t right. As he digs into Sparks’s past and final days, the case becomes anything but straightforward. The deeper he investigates, the more bizarre the trail becomes—because Charlie Sparks’s death has raised more questions than answers.
What Lies Beneath by Adam Croft is the first book in the Rutland crime series. A peaceful Sunday morning in Rutland is shattered when a dead body is discovered on the rocks at Normanton Church.
The victim has been laid out in a crucifixion pose, facing the altar. DI Caroline Hills is certain there’s a religious connection – one which threatens the tranquility of life in the area.
The killer has gone to extraordinary lengths to make the symbolism clear. And the deaths will continue until Caroline and DS Dexter Antoine uncover the truth behind the dark secret – and what lies beneath.
Closer to You is a standalone novel by Adam Croft. When Grace meets Tom, he’s everything she’s ever wanted—charming, thoughtful, and endlessly devoted. He’s the perfect gentleman. Or so she believes.
But not everyone sees Tom the way Grace does. Her friends are wary, her family suspicious. They say something about him doesn’t feel right. That she’s rushing in too fast. That she doesn’t really know him at all.
Grace wants to believe they’re wrong. That love isn’t always neat or predictable. But as her relationships begin to fracture and her world slowly unravels, Tom remains the one constant she can cling to.
Until a chilling discovery shatters everything—and reveals a terrifying truth about the man she thought she loved. Now, Grace must confront the possibility that she’s been sleeping beside a stranger. And he’ll do whatever it takes to make sure his secret stays buried.
Even if it means killing to protect it.
