Michael A. Kahn is an American author of mystery novels. He writes the Rachel Gold series. Michael became an author on a challenge from his wife – his wife would always ask him how the book was he was reading, and when he would say he could write a better one, she challenged him to own up to it. Besides being an author, Michael spends his days as a trial lawyer, representing both companies and individuals in the creative arts and media arts fields. He is also an adjunct professor of law at Washington University in St. Louis. Mike is married to his high school sweetheart, Margi. They have five adult children and (so far) five grandchildren.
