Rogue Squadron is the first book in the Star Wars: X-Wing – Legends series. The book follows the legacy of the iconic Rogue Squadron and the pilots who would go on to become a symbol of hope throughout the Star Wars galaxy. The X-Wing fighters must defend the Rebel Alliance against their foes, the Imperial. A Rebel hero named Wedge Antilles rebuilds the Rogue Squadron, seeking out only the best of the best. He assembles a group of warriors who are willing to fight and die if they need to. Wedge knows that even the best in the galaxy might not be enough, especially when they are ordered to assault the Imperial stronghold of Blackmoon.
Stackpole’s BattleTech Legends series begins with Warrior: En Garde. Exiled Mechwarrior Justin Allard is given one final chance to save his honor by risking his life in the gladiator arenas. His GameWorld opponent is extremely skilled and raises the stakes of their battle even higher. His opponent is Philip Capet, a former mechwarrior who was kicked out of the military by Justin himself. They each have their own battles, but in the InnerSphere, those who interfere with the Successor Lords are either heroes or victims.
