Raven’s Shadow Synopsis: The first novel in this fantasy series is Blood Song. It goes at a very fast pace, and unlike books like Game of Thrones it doesn’t cover so many perspectives of characters that you get lost. It follows the story of Vaelin Al Sornia, who begins as just a scared little boy and ends up growing up as a leader. It’s an excellent book, and a great start to the series.
