Who would you give credit to for Suzanne Collins‘ and Stephenie Meyer‘s success? Harry Potter actor Tom Felton says they can thank none other than J.K. Rowling.

“It’s a credit to Jo [Rowling]. I remember when I was 10, reading wasn’t the thing to be seen doing during on your lunch break or after school. She single-handedly changed that.

“At the end of seven books, lots of readers wanted to try something else – Twilight, The Hunger Games and hopefully lots more.”

Evanna Lynch, who played Luna Lovegood, said: “The Hunger Games is great. When people compare it to Harry Potter, they’re such different worlds. But it is a tribute to Harry Potter for setting the bar.”
