Marvel Comics has a new character added to its list of anti-heroes that is sure to be a killer… Starting in February, Dexter Morgan will be making his debut in the comic medium with a five-issue mini-series written by Dexter creator Jeff Lindsay.
Dexter author and creator Jeff Lindsay says the series barely resembles the original novels. Lindsay created the character in the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter, which is what the Showtime series was based on.

Hall) from the television series on Showtime, but before Dexter made it to the television screen, he was a character in Jeff Lindsay’s Darkly Dreaming Dexter novel.
Jeff Lindsay is an American author who is best known for his Dexter novels, which spawned an incredibly popular Showtime series starring Michael C. Hall as the title character. He has also written standalone novels alongside his wife Hilary Hemingway (niece of Ernest Hemingway) and Michael Dorn (Worf of Star Trek fame).
