Griff Hosker is an English author of epic historical fiction novels. He writes the Sword of Cartimandua, Napoleonic Horseman, Dragonheart, Wolf Brethren, Anarchy, and several other series. Originally from Lancashire, Griff qualified as an English and Drama teacher and worked in the North East of England for 35 years. After his teaching career, he ran a consultancy firm and worked as an advisor to schools in the area. However, he was put out of work by the government and felt he had too much spare time on his hands, so he began researching the Roman conquest for a novel – and so The Sword of Cartimandua was born.

Griff Hosker made his debut as a novelist in 2011 with The Sword of Cartimandua. Below is a list of Griff Hosker’s books in order of when they were originally released:

I am a great fan of Griff’s writing and have read a significant number of his offerings. I am currently on the second last book in the Norman Genesis Series, having finished the Wolf Brethren and Dragon Heart Series. My question is “What next?” I am trying to read each series in chronological order according to date – not publication date – and I wonder if you could tell me which series comes next? Indeed I would appreciate it if you could outline where each series fits relevant to the others.
    Many thanks
    Gerry Coburn
