
Holly Black is an American author of contemporary fantasy novels for children, young adults and adults. She is best known for her Spiderwick Chronicles series (which she co-authored with Tony DiTerlizzi) as well as her Modern Faerie Tales trilogy series. Holly was born in New Jersey and graduated with a B.A. in English from The College of New Jersey. She lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Theo.
