Order of James Thompson Books
James Thompson (1964-2014) was an American-Finish author of crime fiction novels. He wrote the Inspector Vaara series. James was born and raised in eastern Kentucky, but spent the last years of his life in Finland. He became fluent in the language (he studied six languages) and also earned his Master’s degree in English philology from the University of Helsinki.
James Thompson made his debut as a published novelist in 2009 with Snow Angels. The final novel he was able to finish was Helsinki Blood in 2013. A fifth novel, Helsinki Dead, went incomplete at the time of his death. Below is a list of James Thompson’s books in order of when they were originally released:
