If You Like Jane O’Connor Books, You’ll Love…
Jane O’Connor Synopses: Lulu Goes to Witch School is a chapter book for kids who can read but need a little bit of assistance. Lulu the witch girl is a little nervous about her first day of school, but she heads off with her broom and Dracula lunch box. She immediately loves pretty new teacher, Miss Slime, especially her wart. Lulu’s first flying lesson around the cemetery goes very well. There’s only one thing she doesn’t like about witch school – curly-haired Sandy Witch seems to be better at everything than Lulu.
Molly the Brave and Me is a chapter book by Jane O’Connor. Beth wishes she were more like Molly, who doesn’t mind if boys hide dead bugs in her desk, and who tells big kids to get lost if they tease her. Beth is flattered when Molly invites her to stay overnight at her house in the country; when the girls get lost, Beth is the one who gets them home.
