L.T. Vargus Synopsis: The second book in the Violet Darger FBI Thriller book series is Killing Season and my personal favourite. In the space of 2 days, 14 people are murdered thanks to a sniper who kills 8 on the I-20 one day, then takes out 6 random grocery shoppers the next day. Special Agent Violet Darger comes on the season to find an eerie empty city as everyone is hiding indoors from the sniper. Darger must find the murderer because the longer she takes to find him, the higher the death toll is going to be.
