Yesterday’s News is the first book in the Clare Carlson Mystery series. The story picks up with the tale of Lucy Devlin, an eleven-year-old girl who disappeared on her way to school a decade ago. The story was one of the most famous cases in history and turned Clare Carlson into a media superstar. In the current day, Clare is delving back into the story as there is new evidence, new victims, and new suspects. The suspects include a motorcycle gang and a prominent politician who have secrets they are hiding about the missing girl. Clare too has secrets and if she wants to finally untangle the truth about this case – she’ll need to confront her own past.

The Gil Malloy series starts off with The Kennedy Connection. This one brings us back to the Kennedy assassination as there is a new killer on the streets of New York City who is leaving behind a calling card that references that famous event. Gil Malloy, a discredited newspaper reporter, manages to break the story of the link between the murder of JFK and the current murders going on today. As this is all going on, a man claiming to be the son of JFK appears and claims to have evidence that his father was innocent. Malloy sees this story as a chance to redeem himself as a reporter and just needs to find someone who believes him.
