Sheila O’Flanagan is a journalist and author. She is the author of All For You which won the 2011 Irish Popular Fiction Book of the Year Award.

O’Flanagan was born in Dublin, Ireland, a country known for their great writers. However, she always felt that the books set in Ireland were never about people like her as they were always based in rural areas. She worked in finance after university and felt like being a novelist was a pipe dream. She didn’t want to give up her desire to write though and worked on her writing, eventually releasing her first novel, Dreaming of a Stranger. She has continued to write ever since and her novels now number in the double digits. Her aim as a writer is simple: to tell a good story, write likable characters, and make each book better than her last.

If You Like Sheila O’Flanagan Books, You’ll Love…

Three Weddings and a Proposal follows three weddings that Delphie attends. The first is her brother’s wedding where she surprises her family with a last-minute Plus One. However, later that night she sees a ton of missed calls on her phone that lead to bad news. She’s been living her best life, but now she begins to question everything she thinks she knows about who she is. She begins to wonder if her mother is right and that she should settle down. Or if she should try to keep having it all.

What Eden Did Next picks up five years after Eden loses her husband and she’s left to raise the daughter that he never got to meet. Then she meets someone. It’s someone from her past who remembers her how she used to be and she’s interested, but Andy’s mother has other plans for her. What she does next could tear this family apart.
