“Divergent” a Hit With Teens
A new survey says that teens love Veronica Roth and her novel Divergent.
The American Library Association’s YA division announced on Monday that Divergent was the #1 favourite book of online teen voters between August 15-September 15. The novel has often been compared to The Hunger Games.
Other popular picks were The Fault of Our Stars by John Green, Legend by Marie Lu, Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs, What Happened to Goodbye by Sarah Dessen, Across the Universe by Beth Revis, plus books by Marissa Meyer, Maggie Stiefvater, Gayle Forman and Meg Cabot.
