Jackie Collins has re-written her novel The Bitch, which is about a high living, pleasure-seeking divorced woman named Fontaine Khaled. It will now be available for US and Canadian eReaders to download.

Collins has sold over 500 million books and 28 of her novels have appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List. Her pre-1999 backlist has not available for download until now.

“My fans on Twitter and Facebook ask me daily when my books will be available for their eReaders,” said Collins. “I thought I should start with The Bitch as it’s a part of pop culture, and I was feeling the need to revisit those sexy characters. So I’m listening to my readers that need their Lucky Santangelo fix, and this summer I will release Chances as an eBook as well. Plus I want to introduce my younger readers to The Santangelos.”

Chances is due out June 7, 2012, while her 29th (and next) novel titled Power Trip will be coming out soon.

You can download your revised eBook edition of The Bitch straight to your Kindle or other eReader by buying it for only $2.99.
