“The Mortal Instruments” Gets Release Date
After half a year of stalling in development, the movie adaptation of the young adult fantasy novel The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare is now making progress.
We’ve already noted that it appears that 2010 Karate Kid director Harald Zwart is onboard and now we also know it’ll hit theatres in the United States on August 23rd, 2013.
Keep in mind that this book series is not as big of a seller as Twilight or Hunger Games. However, the names attached are Lily Collins and Jamie Campbell Bower, so that should even things out a bit more.
The movie is based on Clare’s series of novels that has four books out with two more on the way.
