With the hit television show Game of Thrones, author George R.R. Martin has signed a new two-year deal with HBO to develop new shows. However, his fans are not too happy about the announcement. What’s the problem? They want more books.

George R.R. Martin is pretty much happy with how well his books were adapted into Cyanide’s Game of Thrones RPG. Still, he realizes not everyone will be as pleased. “Of course I want fans to like it. But nothing pleases everyone, and you can’t let that control what you do,” he told Joystiq.
