In Death is a series of novels by American author J.D. Robb (otherwise known as Nora Roberts). The series is set in the mid-21st century and centers around the New York Police and Security Department – in particular Lt. Eve Dallas and her husband Roarke.


Nora Roberts is a prolific American novelist of romance novels. She writes her In Death mystery/suspense series under the pseudonym J.D. Robb. Her other pseudonyms include Jill March and Sarah Hardesty (in the UK). She has written over 200 romance novels.

Publisher Penguin has just announced its 2011 earnings. Sales were nearly $1.7 million, which is up 1% from 2010. Profits were up 8% to $179 million.
