She is the author of The Body Finder series, The Pledge trilogy, and The Taking trilogy, as well as several picture books co‑written with Shelli R. Johannes. Her work includes the Loves Science series, the Farm Friends books, and Penny: The Engineering Tail of The Fourth Little Pig. She lives in the Pacific Northwest.

Kimberly Derting Synopses: The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting is the first book in the series of the same name.
