Zander finds himself at an auction house with a singular goal: to secure a signature on a contract. He has no intention of acquiring a blood slave—until he sets his sights on Max. Instantly captivated, Zander is determined to make Max his own.
Meanwhile, Max finds himself in the auction house for his own reasons, driven by desperation and prepared for a year of torment. However, to his surprise, his experience with Zander is anything but hellish.
Despite Zander’s intentions, he seems more interested in indulging Max than using him as a blood slave. Confused by Zander’s unexpected kindness, Max realizes that the vampire may not be as he seems.
As the two navigate their unconventional relationship, they must confront their own desires and motivations. Will Zander’s affection for Max lead to a deeper connection, or will their differing expectations tear them apart?
Brandon’s Very Merry Haunted Christmas by A.J. Sherwood is the first book in the Mack’s Marvelous Manifestations series. Donovan is less than thrilled, while Brandon’s brother, Jon, finds the situation amusing.
To deal with the ghost, Brandon and his companions must return to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, where Brandon originally encountered the spirit. However, their plans are disrupted when they meet FBI Medium Mackenzie Lafayette. Mackenzie proves to be far different from what Brandon expected, and he finds himself drawn to her.
As Brandon navigates his newfound abilities and his growing attraction to Mackenzie, he realizes that returning to Nashville can wait. There are mysteries to unravel and relationships to explore, and Brandon is eager to see where this unexpected journey takes him.
