Notes: Agatha Christie novels have often been released under one or two other titles. For the most part, we have listed the original title (also the title the book is being sold under).
The novels Giant’s Bread, Unfinished Portrait, Absent in the Spring, The Rose and the Yew Tree, A Daughter’s a Daughter and The Burden are romance novels that Christie wrote under the pen name of Mary Westmacott. We have included them in the publication order along with Christie’s other standalone novels. Star Over Bethlehem and Other Stories is published as by Agatha Christie Mallowan.
The Monogram Murders is an authorized Hercule Poirot novel, written by Sophie Hannah.
When multiple recurring characters appear in an Agatha Christie novel, we have listed them under both characters.

Just a question if anyone knows.
What are the differences between the “Publication Order of Hercule Poirot Books” and the “Publication Order of Hercule Poirot Collections”? The collection is like 4 books containg all the other individual stories (i.e like the comics that first publish issues and after that they publish one big collection book with all the issues of that cycle)?
From looking at it it may be a mistake on our part – the “collections” may belong in the short story collections section. I’ve flagged that and will look at it next week.
My mom gave me Murder for Christmas when I was in Grade School and lo these many years later I am still hooked on Agatha Christie. I have the leather bound Bantam Books Christie collection – one signed by David Suchet. He was playing in Amadeus in NYC and I caught him outside for a photo and autograph. I might add this was before Smart Phones!
Agatha Christie also wrote a rarely mentioned mystery “Ahknaton” published in 1973. Under a pseudonym she wrote a few romances but I do not remember her pseudonym nor the books.
The pseudonym used by Agatha Christie was Mary Westmacott.
A web search will give you the full listing of books written by her under that name.
After watching the David Suchet “Poirot” series, I decided to start reading Agatha Christie. I went to the library and took out every book of hers I could find. They were all very much worth the reads mostly due to the character interaction (rather than the mysteries themselves). I find Poirot hilarious, although I wouldn’t recommend The Big Four as he turns into sort of a “Bizzaro World” James Bond.
I also enjoy some of her standalone mysteries like And Then There Were None and Endless Night. Classic reads!
