Alexey Osadchuk Synopses: Bastard is the first book in the Last Life series by Alexey Osadchuk. Jack, once a master fixer for the rich, lived a life of secrecy and high stakes. His peculiar abilities made him indispensable, capable of resolving problems where others would fail. But when he crossed the wrong person, his old life ended abruptly.
Instead of death, Jack’s consciousness was transported by a mysterious being into a magical multiverse, where he inhabits the body of Max Renard. Max is an outcast noble, the illegitimate son of a traitor executed by royal decree. Stripped of his status, Max now resides in a remote town on the kingdom’s western fringes.
Now, in this last life, Jack must navigate a world of magic, political intrigue, and the shadow of his predecessor’s disgrace.
Project Daily Grind by Alexey Osadchuck is the first book of the Mirror World series. The ads promised endless adventure in Mirror World: “Be a Great Wizard! A Famous Warrior! Build castles, tame dragons, and conquer kingdoms!” But Oleg doesn’t dream of glory.
He’s not destined for castles or dragons, let alone kingdoms. Instead, Oleg mines in the virtual world’s depths, grinding tirelessly to earn money in-game. His real-world mission? To fund a life-saving heart transplant for his six-year-old daughter.
With time running out, Oleg must navigate the harsh underbelly of Mirror World, where every moment counts and failure isn’t an option. The stakes couldn’t be higher: his daughter’s life hangs in the balance.
Dungeons of the Crooked Mountains is the first book of the Underdog series by Alexey Osadchuk. Eric Bergman was born into a world ruled by the Great System, but his life began under a dark cloud. Born a “nulled” child—level zero with no characteristic points—he was kept alive only by a sliver of life and energy. The village midwife blamed the evil spirit Bug, and the System’s laws denied Eric the use of experience essences or characteristic tablets, leaving him frail and bedridden.
Determined to give his son a chance, Eric’s father, Aren, risked everything. He secured a bank loan to buy Ancient artifacts without level restrictions, allowing Eric limited mobility. Though ridiculed as a freak, Eric clung to a fragile hope.
That hope shattered on his fourteenth birthday when his parents died in a mining accident. Their home was seized by the bank, and Eric, now orphaned, was forced to repay their debts by venturing into the perilous Dungeons of the Crooked Mountains. Here, in the face of insurmountable odds, Eric’s fight for survival begins.
